Packaging Innovations 2020 

Cutting-edge innovations on display at the UK’s largest packaging event

IVisitors will be given the unparalleled opportunity to discover cutting-edge solutions, explore emerging trends and learn from industry pioneers when Packaging Innovations 2020 returns to Birmingham’s NEC on 26 & 27 February. Alongside it’s co-located shows, Ecopack, Contract Pack & Fulfilment, Label&Print, and Empack, the event will allow attendees to discover technologies and systems for use across the supply chain.

Over 300 leading suppliers will join the show floor, many of which will be launching new products. For example, Innovia Films will unveil its Propafilm™ Strata range of sustainable high barrier films that are certified recyclable. Trolley Bags will also introduce the latest addition to its shopping bag system which integrates an insulated cool bag, designed to allow freezer items to stay cool.

Exhibiting as part of Empack, Yorkshire Packaging Systems will launch its Pizza Capping Solutions which utilises film that is OPRL approved and fully recyclable to LDPE level 4.

The Label Makers will join the Label&Print show to promote its latest innovations including its recent project for Diablesse Rum which utilises overlays of embossed matt-gold foiling.

Alongside a packed show floor, Packaging Innovations 2020 will host a series of interactive features for visitors to draw inspiration from including the show’s headline feature, The BIG Carbon Debate. The panel session will discuss the complex issue of sustainability and unpick the challenges of creating truly eco-friendly packaging.
